The New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees is a quality guy. Now he’s under attack by the Twitter mob after making a video encouraging children to read the Bible - in conjunction with the Focus on the Family group, which holds traditional beliefs on marriage and adoption.

He already semi-caved to the morality and thought police by qualifying his beliefs. He didn’t owe them an explanation. The only reason to apologize at all is to protect financial success. I wish he hadn’t done it.
