A poll taken by my alma mater Marist College says 58 percent of African-Americans favor reparations for slavery and other historical injustice. Just 8 percent of white Americans support reparations.

People who wanted to continue the institution of slavery. It COST about 700,000 American lives. The ONLY nation to have resolved the issue by warfare. Meanwhile slavery continued, and continues, in other parts of the world.

The answer is more straightforward. From reparations must be deducted the cost of the civil war, desegregation, social assistance, welfare and other benefits. The result would still be a negative sum... In other words, reparations means forgiveness of black debt. Drop itpic.twitter.com/fw0WV5Kxgr
