Exact same thing has been said about all media through the years ... shockingly ... by the older generation warning of doom and gloom of younger generation ... and the cycle continues

I agree fully. Too much negativity and it’s delivery is instantaneous. I find myself taking a break away from time to time and have been using it less as of late. I am considering doing away with all social media and only watching 10-30 minutes of news a day.

There is an upside but also a downside. I love how I can use it as a ministry for the gospel and encouragement for others with devotionals. Also retweeting info that helps police capture suspects and retweeting Amber/Silver alerts.

Social media helps me understand politics, politicians, and my country better. Since the press and media are so biased and manipulating, social media allows me to listen to honest and credible individuals.

Its already done the damage. People need to unplug.
