It simply amazes me that so many Americans, especially younger ones, want to turn over their well being to the government. Do you really want the government telling you what to eat? What doctor you can go to? What kind of cars and appliances you can have?
That’s what this “Green New Deal” is all about - empowering the feds and states to impose “environmental” regulations that would severely curtail individual freedom.
Are we entering the "Handout" generation? God, I hope not!
Not that way green new deal is making many green jobs then step by step realize it, first maybe need now money to support it but soon using green wealth to support transit. Not all using citizens ‘ tax. Actually now green energy occupy big part of energy even over fossil fuels.
And America is the only one trying to do it, how is that gonna help if no other countries are doing anything about the so called problem.. tell me is it just over America?

Why would you say that? The government would not tell us what to eat, only what's safe to eat, isn't that something anyone wants for their kids and families? Bill is just using scare tactics because the ppl he works for benefit from the current system.
