Like Colorado and other states that have legalized pot, Canada will pay a social price for its permissiveness. The liberal press and politicians will tamp down that exposition but it will happen.

And get a larger social benefit? Gotta measure both sides.

Incorrect, Scott. The measurement of the health repercussions of pot is in its infancy, much like cigarettes were in the 50s when Doctors were promoting health benefits in commercials.

Just because you say it with conviction don't make it so. There has been no credible studies indicating smoking pot will not be harmful to the health of a person. Breathing in smoke is bad for a body.

        Studies so far disagree.

Might be the case, but I can say with relative certainty that you will not find a medical study that indicates sucking smoke into your lungs is good for the body. I don't think pot should be illegal, but I think people are fooling themselves about the health ramifications.

Wow, someone's off their meds again. So you believe sucking smoke into the lungs is good for you, I guess. I never said you shouldn't do it I said there no conclusive studies to the health ramifications. Try to keep up.

Just wondering - is one still alowed to call them 'allegations' when c $50M has paid out to complensate and silence the victims?

Your implication is that society can't handle the repeal of the prohibition of cannabis; but it handled the repeal of the prohibition on alcohol. What makes you believe your perception of cannabis is accurate?

If you mean they will have a decrease in crime, more resources to put towards fighting real crime, more tax income for programs such as education and a huge decrease in opioid dependency than yes sir you are right, but those aren’t bad thing. Pot should be legalized. It doesn’t kill anyone and I can help the opiate crisis and the government and the states can make a lot of money off of it and it can be safe
