The mistake Trump made was not holding a factual press conference. All he needed to say: “We believe that Russia did it. President Putin denies it. We believe it happened - and it can never happen again.” That would have been really strong.

He just said he misspoke! It doesn't mean we trust the FBI or DOJ! HE is fair but they are not.

That is putting in mildly when you consider it was an attempted coup. We see through the words. We knew what he meant. Actions speak louder than words. He's done more against Russia than Obama or any other pres. Where was the nit-picking then?! It's utterly frustrating to see it.
