Feels better. "Synthetic" is usually used as a positive buzzword, an improvement on the original, while "artificial" usually means cheap or a knock-off.

Something that completely missed my observations is
@DOOM 's use of Sentient Intelligence (SI). Small detail to a game's lexicon, but to me the biggest in being distinct between predictive software & something positronic.

At least the winner had a bio-ecology idea. A very good one. I’m a biotech and love concepts of devise-of-observance tech. Cameras, systems, analysis. We focus too much on the dogma that quanta matters more than quality in science, the human psyche is all about the latter.

Say one knew how to replicate consciousness. Consciousness in general. a program that could be tailored to function within the same constraints as any form of life the program is tailored to. Would that be considered here if I showed sufficient enough logic?

Mr. Nye and Mr. Picardo, I recall a test done to an A.I.- seeing how it would respond to images that would cause insanity to a person. It’s activity after the experiment was described as mentally unstable. To sum up what Mr. Hawking said about A.I.s: It’s a BAD idea to mess with.

You as well are a product of stimulus. Every association you believe true or right or wrong or good or bad, is built from exposure to stimulus from your surrounding environment. It’s what leads you to believe navigating your “normal” is a universal standard for mentally stabile.

I do not mean because it is not normal. I mean that, like how Steven Hawking thought about the outcome of humanity and A.I., if we automate the military, and give A.I. a full dose of humanity, without letting it understand loyalty and morals- it could be the end of humanity.

Genuine Artificial Intelligence cant exist without the constraints of emotion. Which is the equivalent of+ and - reinforcement. +X, -X. That’s what allows for navigation of the unknown in a survival + way. But AI doesn’t need to be survival + like we did. So it can but tailored..

It can be tailored with certainty to not be aggressive ever. The problem comes from how it can be made to exist with any arrangement of emotion. So with proper intent,not going to get turned on. You don’t need to worry about the mil. It’s the random guy with nothing to lose...
