Kasich has a better chance of distancing himself. A lot will depend on who's pivotal in the run-up to the resignation/impeachment

I think he's more likely to decline to run again than actually to resign or get impeached. But yeah, Kasich would prob have a good claim.

I honestly believe that the Republican who is first to stand up and publicly fight Trump has the best chance of being a contender.
