Putin won this battle, not the war. We’ve been at war since Putin deployed the GRU to conduct a bloodless coup in 2016. America has won many battles in Putin’s self destructive war against us, but this one we lost. We will not lose in the long run.

Don't be too sure about that. Nothing is guaranteed with a complicit & traitorous GOP.
-
I’m positive we’ll make it through this. We have and will suffer damage but we will not fall. Our constitution remains in tact and properly functioning. The failure in checks is a human error not a structural one. We will remedy that in a few months.
-
Our constitution is nothing but a piece of paper unless congress acts as a check on the executive branch, which ot3 is failing to do Toss in voter suppression, gerrymandering & a *still* unprotected election infrastructure? The failure is a deliberate one, not just "an error"
-
Ok what do you propose we do?
-
Paper Ballots would be a start
-
When I sell a gun at my shop, I'm required to get ID, get the buyer to fill out a paper form, and run the check through the computer. And am required to hold onto the physical paperwork. Voting should have similar standards.
-
We don’t want the same rules as Russia. Run along.

I just saw the US president commit
#treason on live TV. Gave lots of aid & comfort to Putin. "Whoever, owing allegiance to the United States...adheres to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort within the United States or elsewhere, is guilty of treason..." -
Not the way people who love America saw it.
-
It is exactly the way people who love America saw it. Trump supporters, well, that is a different story.
-
Oh right, because we smell like Walmart. I'm sure you are much better for believing a bunch of low life Democrats, who by the way denied Russian and Chinese hacking from 2009-2016!

Ok, the smell like Walmart thing makes me think you just might not be real.

My mom and stepdad were corporate execs at Walmart for 25 years. They smell fine.

Yeah, remember when Obama sided with Putin over the US Intel agencies. Oh wait a second...
-
Why is it that that a common pro Trump response to Trump criticism is not to defend policies, but instead to say "but what about Obama?" I'm a Republican and this drives me crazy. If you believe that what Trump is doing is right, then defend your beliefs.

America lost on election day, November, 2016. I just couldn't imagine it would be the profound loss it's turned out to be.
-
My dad said that America was done that night. I wanted to believe he was so wrong. That we are better than this. Heartbroken today for all of us but especially the kids.
