The chart is deceiving. Poverty starts way before you reach the 1.90 mark. Poverty will end when people stop hoarding wealth

Poverty is a mindset. Break out of the prison. Set goals, and take actions towards those goals. You will achieve your goals. Keep faith.
-
The data and countless studies say otherwise.
-
Data is a representation of the past. The future is up to you me and everyone else. Focus on your self and your goals and change the data of the future. Simple.
-
You don't change structural poverty with self help, it's no solely an individual flaw that leads a portion of sociery to poverty
-
False. It is completely on the person to get out of poverty. It's not anyone's responsibility but their own. Each person (for the most part see long threads attached) has the ability to be successful. Where you are located has nothing to do with being poor.

You do realize that would create even more problems right?
-
I'm not saying I subscribe to that idea fully, but there is evidence it is a great economic stimulus.

More of a living wage proponent, but a living stipend for college kids, the elderly and disabled, 100%

No reason why they can’t both exist simultaneously. The transition from “full time work for everyone” to “robots doing most of the work and humans execute the abstract” will take over 20 years. Baby steps.

Our non-voilent efforts will bring peace. There is enough money in this world, but few are hoarding it. More than 90% money are in hands of less than 1% people.https://twitter.com/sanjaysinghsnmc/status/1043109410640420864?s=19 …

It's irony of life that people don't get even very very basic things and some people have excessive materialistic things that they are not even able to handle things. Really interesting game of life.

Poverty is not inevitable but it is damn hard to crawl out of. A lot of people get hopeless and give up dooming the next generation to poverty. I'm dragging myself and my family out and it's so, so hard. I'm working myself through college so my children and theirs have a chance.
-
That's awesome! I'm inspired by you

Thanks! Sinking into a pit of despair really isn't my thing. Daddy Jason told me if I wasn't trying to solve the problem I was simply making the problem worse. Wise man.
