When I was 17 I went to get a Limp Bizkit tattoo and when they wouldn’t let me because I didn’t have a guardian’s approval, I cried and punched a lamp post. 3 months later I was allowed to take on $119,000 in loans to go to art school.

Art school costs HOW MUCH over there? I mean I was 17 when I started my Biomed bachelor for $32k or so..but that’s a no interest, indexed only loan from the gov that only gets compulsory repayments over a certain income threshold #notthepoint #butstill

Colleges kind of charge whatever they feel like now. They know the student loans are guaranteed by the Goverment. Most kids are dumb and will take out the loans or won't go to a cheaper college for "reasons"pic.twitter.com/JsI7d3dkMn

Well the politicians will either end up on the board of some fancy college or the board of one of the banks for a 6 figure salary. So of course they want to switch to the US system.
