"You're going to see a lot of energy coming from my office and my team," @SecretaryPete told #BikeSummit21. "We're just going to be a better, safer, cleaner and greener country the more people have great, safe options to get around on two wheels."pic.twitter.com/1ZAj1ytQmy

I biked 7 miles tonight, 155 miles so far in 2021 in South Bend on the riverside trail. Thanks to Mayor Pete for our silver level bike friendly citypic.twitter.com/ZrvVD2uCQF

Im from Cleveland and I am reading a lot about Indianapolis. Im thinking of renting a hotel room with a couple cycling friends and trying out the downtown bike lanes. South bend good too? Cle is getting a lot better fast though.

Perhaps @SecretaryPete could call and talk to our Board of County Supervisors directly and give them some guidance for how to make it safer or people walking/biking. They don’t seem to want to listen to citizen advocates. @pwcgov #CarCentricPlanning

It's great to finally hear this from the Secretary of Transportation. Hopefully, some of that enthusiasm gets heard by state and local planners who design the systems we have to use.

Let’s try something new - what we’re doing now doesn’t protect pedestrians and cyclists. Check out these Florida-based in-road lights!pic.twitter.com/RgISS5dvu0
