This is a very bad take on DOs. I would’ve expected better from Kurt. In the US at least, MDs and DOs are virtually indistinguishable. These days, their residencies are even accredited by the same organization. Some of the best docs I’ve ever known have been DOs.https://twitter.com/KBAndersen/status/1419288317389156357 …

Plus no other countries recognize an osteopath degree as equivalent to an MD. Leave the quackery at home. Might as well just get an MD if they’re the same

Uh… that makes no sense. Who tf cares what other countries do? Nobody makes decisions on their professional future because you are uninformed and learning is hard :(

Unfortunately there are several awful high profile DOs but there are also several high profile awful MDs. The degree doesn’t matter. I am embarrassed by all of the anti-science or immoral physicians.

Lots of people holding all degrees practice pseudoscience. Lol… you should probably read more.

If you can define “high profile” that should be pretty easy to confirm or refute. My own impression is that MDs seem to outnumber DOs among quacks who advertise their credentials (Depak Chopra, Mehmet Oz, etc)
