I'm glad for stories like this, but it still begs the question how they willfully ignored what they knew in 2016. It's the equivalent of walking down the street, being confronted by a big pile of dog shit before your next step, pausing, looking at it, & stepping in it anyway.

It was abortion. That was the issue. They’ve since realized that being a single issue voter is wrong.

Spoke w/69yr old family friend of my parents who surprisingly texted me saying she voted [ knew she was a long time R] &asked me if I did. Then I said you probably voted for 45 right. She never curses and texted 'Hell no. He dissed active duty,vets&disrespects my granddaughters'

I was shocked she even reached out to me about voting bc she only does when sharing recipes so I was curious. There's more girls 8 to 1 in her family so trump's shitty dissing of professional strong women and troops meant a lot-fam lineage of both.
