Texas restricts mail in voting. It is only available by request for older adults and people with disabilities. For the rest of us, we have to go in-person. The Dems tried to get this changed because of COVID, but the Reps fought it and won otherwise I would definitely VBM.

Yes. I live in Texas. I am confused at why so many people requested absentee ballots but are still in town to stop them off. Unless they are handicapped or elderly, they don't qualify. Period. Those votes shouldn't count.

I think that some people are worried about it getting lost in the mail or arriving late so they want take it to a drop off to make sure that their vote is counted.
