And, yet, she did. And this is a moderate who sided with Republicans (after convincing Dems to back her) when she was on the local school board, which she quit before the end of her very first term to run for Congress.

On the school board, yes. That’s why the people who backed her for school board have supported other candidates in the primary. Of the 7 people who ran in the primary, there was only one who was more conservative than her.

That’s also why only one local Dem club has endorsed her (and that one endorsed someone else in the primary, but endorsed her in the runoff), while the other clubs have endorsed Kim.

In a recent town hall, Kim said she understood why people were angry and protesting police brutality. Candace’s response was to say she was stoking violence.

I don’t think Kim takes police union money either, but I would have to check. But as far as money goes, Candace is the one using a Super PAC to spread lies about Kim. They literally sent a mailer with a quote about Kim where they dropped the word “not” to change the meaning.

Yep, the person they were “quoting” has come out hard against it as a completely untrue.

Doesn’t Olson have a scandal problem?

Taken out of context. Anyone who takes the time to read up on it and how her superiors backed her up should not be worried about it. But if someone only reads a misleading headline it might concern them. For me, I still donated to/voted for her after I read up on it.
