There are 29 million people in TX. If 70% ultimately get infected (herd immunity w/o vaccine), that’s 20.3 million infections. If 1.29% of those die, that’s 262,000 dead Texans.

The way I see it Doc, the 1.29% would be the lucky ones to escape misery. It’s other 7/8% with long term suffering and 10-15% with severe sickness who are going to be suffering. For some reason

And it only works if we can try get to herd immunity. If antibody levels rapidly wane and reinfection is a possibility, then herd immunity won’t happen.
