I hope you're right, and kudos to you if you are, my personal calculus puts Texas probably 1 or maybe even 2 more cycles. Though Trump's monumental incompetence may be moving up the Time-line in real-time. :-)
Minus Trump, I would agree with you. It’s still conservative, but there are so many former Republicans here who absolutely hate Trump, even more than they hate Ted Cruz who only won in 2018 by 3 pts.
