Congratulations Charles on your fundraising. Now you will have the resources to actually provide health insurance to your staff and pay your interns $15/hr like we do.https://twitter.com/Booker4KY/status/1271457087223205890 …

Why? Why should t campaigns treat their workers the way we want all employees to be treated?
-
I agree that campaigns should meet those standards, but when a candidate with a ton of money shames another candidate who has not been as fortunate, it’s not a good look. We can fight to make sure campaign workers are taken care of without this.

If he can’t take care of his employees, why do you think he’ll take care of the good people of KY? Do you not think his staff deserves to have health insurance and be provided at least close to a living wage? That’s shameful.
-
I agree that every staff member should be paid at least $15/hr and have health insurance. That’s one of the reasons I support campaign workers who want to unionize and public financing of campaigns. Right now, only the best fundraisers can provide for their staff and that’s wrong

I dunno. He’s claiming to be the “progressive” choice. She is providing healthcare for her staff....

She has more than 20x as much money as him so she can afford it.

Bad look on you, John.
-
Why? Because I don’t like it when people with all the money in the world shame those who don’t?
