I need more confidence that i am making a good decision building my own pc vs a prebuilt
I built my first one a few months back. Not sure I saved much money, but I got what I wanted and it was a fun project. So depending on what you are looking to get out of it, you could go either way.

the warranty, no matter how limited, of prebuilt pcs is kinda comforting. My daily driver home pc is a 2011 destop i built thanks to some friends in college and i want to try it again but i just get so nervous about It

The piece of mind of prebuilt is big plus. That’s impressive that it’s still chugging along after 9 years.
