Greg Abbott is opening restaurants, malls, and movie theatres on Friday. Two things I will be doing: 1) Keeping track of which ones open and never going there again. 2) Working like hell to get rid of this asshole in 2024.

I am referring to the class just above that. They work hard, don't need or want government assistance, but need to work. That's the population I believe you need to understand. That's the population that catapulted Trump into the White House.
Most of the ones I know want to get back to work, but they want to do it safely and are ok with the government helping them so that they can be responsible in the short run. I’ve lived on minimum wage and gone without insurance because I couldn’t afford it. I understand.

Thanks for the polite responses. Our perspectives are not as different as I thought. I respectfully request you reconsider your first statement in your original post. If you choose not to be a customer of reopened business at 25%, aren't you punishing the working class staff.

Likewise. No, I am encouraging the owners/operators not to put their staff and customers at unnecessary risk. I remember being forced to work sick as a server or lose my job (I shouldn’t have done it, but I needed the job). I am concerned the same will happen with this.
