Greg Abbott is opening restaurants, malls, and movie theatres on Friday. Two things I will be doing: 1) Keeping track of which ones open and never going there again. 2) Working like hell to get rid of this asshole in 2024.
We have tons of data available. Look at states like Nebraska that never put stay at home orders in place and are seeing massive spikes in new cases.

You just proved our point NE didn't close...TX did We can't stay closed forever Our numbers in NY aren't honestly published (as in underlying conditions)...our numbers aren't the same as TX and TX isn't the same as NE

New cases could be because of more testing. Nebraska’s per capita deaths are lower than most states and far lower than California, as is Texas. I’m not sure what the answer is for reopening but it’s not fair to harshly judge restaurants for opening up.
-
By that same logic, Texas’ rate could be artificially low because we are at the bottom of testing per capita.
