Greg Abbott is opening restaurants, malls, and movie theatres on Friday. Two things I will be doing: 1) Keeping track of which ones open and never going there again. 2) Working like hell to get rid of this asshole in 2024.

Yes. I agree those trump-supporting restaurant owners like the Rio Mambo guy don’t care who they kill just as long as they make money. But restaurants that open Friday are just doing what they are being assured is safe. We know it’s not. But they might not
That may be true of some, but most restaurant/theater owners/operators are smart people.

Because, under Bush & Obama, those pandemics were handled with rapid, well-planned responses highly coordinated with WHO & global infectious disease specialists. CDC teams were deployed to countries of origin to help contain outbreaks before they could kill 56,000+ Americans.
