Not sure about the specific factor, but yes, any type of smoking will damage the lungs and increase the risk of complications with Covid or any other pulmonary infection. The good thing about cannabis is that it can be consumed without smoking it.

Overall, I am more concerned about the criminal justice implications of legalization. We can then institute public health programs to limit the harm, like we do with alcohol, vaping, and cigarettes.
