I understand, my point was Navarro's claim that he was better suited to address covid19 response than Dr. Fauci because of his ability to understand data. He obviously values one PhD over others. In this crisis people want to hear from MDs when related to the coronavirus.
Agreed that his area of expertise is less relevant here than Dr. Fauci’s and I will listen to the physicians first. There is a place for PhDs, like epidemiologists and in some ways economists. They do a lot of large scale modeling. But when it comes to medication, I want MDs.
