The oddity about this response & every response to situations like this is that, the true power resides with the consumer. If you push liquidity into the consumer market, then businesses will be just fine. But, no one takes that approach & now the middle class has nothing.

In this case, I think the markets are actually responding to the response. And, instead of taking measures for the American people to have a paycheck or doing something like moving the tax deadline, he’s bailing out corporate America. Top-down, instead of bottom-up.

Definitely. If there had been steady leadership that made sure that average people would make it through financially and that healthcare workers were supported, this likely wouldn’t happen.
