I see the term “elderly” being used a lot in reference to the #coronavirus and I wanted to remind everyone that it’s a pretty insensitive term. Let’s use better terminology going forward, like “Older Adult,” for example.

I think you misread the tweet if you think this is a) an issue I’m running on or b) any real outrage. I was just pointing out the correct terminology. If you don’t want to use it, fine. Just trying to inform.

sticking up for weaker people is always good however you gotta know which battles to fight. The last thing people want now is another word they have to change. Republicans focus on winning while we focus on which words can be offensive. That’s all I got. Now win!
