It always has struck me how everyone is an expert in the Entertaintment business. Doc do you know anything about contractual obligations, or the economics of feature films? I don’t practice medicine.

More than the average person, but I am sure there are others with more expertise. In addition to my PhD I have a BFA in theatre and worked professionally for a short bit on both the performance and production side.

Bad example. Movie earned a fraction of what it would have if it had a normal release. And your comment “more than the average person” sure seems a little arrogant. Have you studied entertainment economics? Worked in the field? But still you second guess real experts.

How is saying above average arrogant? Arrogance would be saying I am an expert.
