I see the term “elderly” being used a lot in reference to the #coronavirus and I wanted to remind everyone that it’s a pretty insensitive term. Let’s use better terminology going forward, like “Older Adult,” for example.

And I reject your assumed authority. I too can claim extensive time with elderly, since I live in an elders home of some 227 alert articulate older people.
No assumption. Just a PhD and more than a decade of research/publications in peer-reviewed academic journals.

I respect your scholarship. But not your conclusions on this matter. I am retired, not surprisingly, and I can go tit-for-tat on this issue for the next decade as I'm in excellent health. Give it up.
