Sorry but the American people voted for him. We knew what he was like and we still voted for him and the masses will vote for him again. Frankly we got what we deserved and I’m afraid we haven’t learnt our lesson. I hope I’m wrong and we truly wise up in November - I pray we do.
I hear what you’re saying. I will push back on one piece. The majority of voters voted against him. It’s just that we have an archaic system. That combined with the Comey letter and Russian interference, along with decades of attacks against Hillary, led to Trump being elected.

True. The fact that anyone voted for him is concerning. I know quite a few who did for very specific reasons and are now working hard to get rid of him. That gives me some hope.

It’s not that the Electoral College was a bad idea but that it was perverted when it was made winner take all in each and every state. Bring back the Proportional Electoral College voting.
