Just so I get this straight, #COVD19 was not important enough to pass legislation to expand paid sick leave, but a travel ban is perfectly legit?

Yeah, that's about it! One is more important than the other. Not every employer can cover the down time of employee leave for 2 weeks. Money may not be an object to you, but to small businesses, this could prove disastrous. If situations change Gov should relook at this measure
