One of my wife’s 6th grade students didn’t eat lunch today because there was an issue with their account and they didn’t want to be seen eating the cheese sandwich that is given to students without funds in their lunch account. This is the America we live in.

Punitive state legislators are responsible for humiliating students who are home or nutrition insecure. Ensuring children meet their maximum potential should be a national goal. Any 2020 candidates wish to speak to this issue?
I am 100% in agreement. School lunches and breakfasts should be free for everyone.
