One of my wife’s 6th grade students didn’t eat lunch today because there was an issue with their account and they didn’t want to be seen eating the cheese sandwich that is given to students without funds in their lunch account. This is the America we live in.

How much is the bill? Ill pay it... hungry kids don’t learn, grow or smile.
It’s all squared away now, but if there is a school near you, they could probably use some help for some of their kids. Then help elect politicians who will fix this.

I live in a state where we have free breakfast and lunch programs for our students.. Massachusetts provides over 500,000 kids will meals a year. It’s probably why we are ranked #1 in education.

My mom gives money to a local school to help pay for students’ lunches. The school is always so grateful. Every little bit goes a long way.

This came up here in a school in south Jersey. The school refused to allow anyone to pay down students bill other than family. How ridiculous is that?

It's astonishing how many Americans are hungry. People truly don't believe it. I live in Mexico now and the mexican people may not have much, but everyone here gets fed. Remarkable.
