One of my wife’s 6th grade students didn’t eat lunch today because there was an issue with their account and they didn’t want to be seen eating the cheese sandwich that is given to students without funds in their lunch account. This is the America we live in.

School lunch shaming is reprehensible and should be outlawed! We live in the wealthiest nation on earth for Christ's sake! Disgusting and any school that does it should be ashamed of themselves
Shaming is definitely reprehensible. The schools are often bound by the laws that govern them. The best way to fix this is to elect new legislators who will prioritize our students.
