One of my wife’s 6th grade students didn’t eat lunch today because there was an issue with their account and they didn’t want to be seen eating the cheese sandwich that is given to students without funds in their lunch account. This is the America we live in.

One of my 5th grade students was so hungry, a few hours after lunch, he decided to each paper. He did this two days in a row. Many of my students complain they are hungry. I’m working on a grant to fund breakfast and pm snacks for kids at my school.
Wow. Thank you so much for fighting for your students. You shouldn’t have to, but it is good people like you who make things better.
