As we face a potential public health crisis, I wish we had a president who believed in science and expertise. And I wish we had an administration that didn't fan unnecessary panic or issue statements that can't be trusted.

One place to start is by electing scientists. There’s only 1 PhD-level research scientist in Congress. Is it any surprise we see such bad science policy from the administration as well as Members of Congress?

To be fair it's not enough to just elect scientist and doctors, look no further then Ben Carson. Brilliant Neuroscientist, dumb as a box of rock on everying else

Sorry sorry, my main argument still stands. I agree we need more doctors and scientist in congress and the senate but we cant just let vote them in on occupation alone

I agree. The occupation is just a starting point. Then we need to get them. But I think we can agree that one is too few.
