I asked this question to someone else and they said many PhDs were there. I said no.
There are a few other PhDs from other various fields, but not who are scientists who have spent time doing research.

Thank you, but as an academic most PhDs have done extensive research in their field. I do hope they put that to use in Congress.

Yes, research is required in the field of study and I agree that is helpful. I think the lack of people with a background in scientific is something that should change.
