We have reached a point in our society where we have to rely on crowdfunding to pay for healthcare, education, and even kid’s lunches. How about we have the ultimate crowdfund? We’ll call it “taxes” and we’ll use it to pay for things that our society needs.

the problem is not that taxes are too low. the problem is that those in charge of spending our tax money are irresponsible and corrupt. politicians are getting rich and telling us they need more, more, more.
That has been true at times in the past, but since the Trump tax cuts, we are sorely behind. That doesn’t mean that we don’t need to be more responsible with our money as well, but taxes are too low right now, especially for the ones who can afford it.
