When people tell me the minimum wage doesn’t need to be raised because it’s enough to live on, I say that I lived on in the last time it was raised, over 10 years ago. It sucked then and the cost of living has only gone up. We must raise the minimum wage and tie it to inflation.

I believe 15 is a good start, but it's still not a liveable wage. Look at the typical wage earner and their expenses and you'll see they will consistently be running behind on bills.

I agree, but it would be a lot better than today’s $7.25/hr.

I make $15/hr & barely get by. The problem is u cant just move it to $15 over night. It has 2 be done gradually 2 prevent job loss or hours being cut. What about us at already make that what will happen to us? Our wages wont double as well. I make what I make bc I went to school

So going to school means you get to make min. wage? Right now I make double that. I know I will not get $30/hr & I am not asking for that however u have 2 consider what it means 4 those that have worked 2 make above min. wage too.
