It's good enough to live on, if you are getting food stamps and government assistance. Oh wait, it seems in a lot of places that this has been reduced too.
When people tell me the minimum wage doesn’t need to be raised because it’s enough to live on, I say that I lived on in the last time it was raised, over 10 years ago. It sucked then and the cost of living has only gone up. We must raise the minimum wage and tie it to inflation.

I'd love to see any one of those people try to live on minimum wage. Good luck when the car breaks, you have a medical problem and miss work or need to put shoes on the kids.

Crazy how the rich/privileged are the 1st to say folks can live on a min.wage. Here in Idaho it’s a ghastly 7.25/hr. No one ever with maybe the exception of a 16 yr old living with his/her folks who was just a first time hire could be happy or sustained with that wage.Absurd.
