I marched for those who could not b/c whose struggle to cope was to much & died by suicide. Death by suicide spiked in 4th quarter of 2016 and has now climbed to highest levels since WWII; #1 COD for <35, & in 2017 alone was 7x the # who died in Iraq & Afgan wars combined
It's the most addressable epidemic facing our nation if we could get just an ounce of buy in from everyone. A loved one of mine took his own life on the day of the Woman's march in 2017 (3yrs ago today)- so while this topic may seem tangential re: marching, to me it is not.
