As a therapist, I have to ask a neuroscientist, do you support a #universalbasicincome, one proposed by the likes of @AndrewYang, that would greatly reduce pervasive financial hyper-vigilance? If not, why not.
I’m really glad it’s been brought up. I’ve been following the UBI research for a few years and am open to it. I would like to see a little more research about the best way to implement (e.g. what is the appropriate amount). More is coming out from Finland and Canada, I believe.

Personally, I believe $1k/mo is great, but so would $2k. Positive incentives are so great. But I think @AndrewYang proposal is a great plan, especially when tied into a VAT so it creates an elegant circulatory system.
