Lived & Worked in Houston Metroplex 45 years. Saw both pro & con. We had both professional foreign residents plus a manufacturing facility which was 70% immigrants. They all worked hard, were paid a living wage, took care of their families and lived normal lives.

I live in CedarCreek Lake area with 85% white citizens -many middle class retirees but also younger people with children with 70% working two jobs and still low income. This community doesn’t see the effects of a booming economy! They need someone/something to blame.
