I understand that. We have fifty states in the country. Not all of them need to accept refugees in order to house them all. This is a non issue.
We’re the second largest in the nation. If we turn people away that makes it that much harder to resettle them.

Yes Texas is huge, but so is the country in general. 42 states have already signed on to take in more refugees. Perhaps the food won't be as good in the other states, but there's more than enough room to house and resettle refugees without Texas.
