I understand that. We have fifty states in the country. Not all of them need to accept refugees in order to house them all. This is a non issue.

We’re the second largest in the nation. If we turn people away that makes it that much harder to resettle them.

If you truly want to help refugees, you can help so much more and so many more by spending the money for their resettlement closer to their areas. A true helping heart would want that over mass transportation of far fewer people for the same price.

You’re right that we should start by properly funding the State Department and USAID so that there are fewer refugees in the first place. For those who still become refugees we need to help them too.
