Refugees are none of those things. AMERICANS are our teachers, doctors, and neighbors. Once we've helped out our fellow Americans, then we can open the doors to help out more. One who sees to others before his own home is not virtuous, he's derelict.

My church in Austin has many refugees from all over the world and we are better for it. This is shameful.

I have been fortunate enough to spend time with some of the excellent refugee resettlement groups here in DFW. We are reaching out to the Governor’s office.
