How do you enforce background checks on private gun sales???
The same way we enforce any law. With consequences from fines to jail time for those who break them.

Automatic non-negotiable prison terms. 20 years: Violent felon with possession of firearm. 15 years: Felon with possession of firearm. 10 years: possession of illegal firearm and for each straw purchase for felon.

I would add to that, we need to give the ATF the resources to enforce those, especially cracking down on straw purchases.
