While I may be a bit biased, I believe our ceremony was one of the best, due in large part, to Lon. And while our wedding day was perfect, there was an ache that for Lon, in 2011, he would not be able to have a day like the one he had given us. (2/5)

Flash forward to 4 years ago today. The Supreme Court ruled on Obergefell v. Hodges and legalized what we all knew to be true: love is love is love. And while I will celebrate this day forever, I know there is still more to be done to protect that love. (3/5)

We have a sitting Congressman who not only disagrees that everyone should be free to love who they choose, but who will not support the
