Has anyone managed to articulate an even somewhat compelling critique of Chesa? Every time people trot out the same old mindless crap: junkies junkies junkies blah blah blah. SF elected Chesa because we're sick of that tiresome, vindictive shit.

By midnight tonight, our city could surpass 700 narcotic overdose deaths this year. Yet dealers continue to deal - and kill - with impunity. I’m not saying that only enforcement is the only answer here, but why is this status quo acceptable to so many? It’s tacit encouragement.
