    The GOP’s attempts to undermine ballot access and our election process were pathetic and desperate. Today they lost. With a unanimous decision by the Iowa Supreme Court, we're still in this fight and we WILL beat Chuck Grassley in November. It's a good day for our democracy.

    The FDA has issued an emergency use authorization for a device that can detect COVID-19 in breath samples. The FDA says the device is 91.2% accurate at identifying positive test samples and 99.3% accurate at identifying negative test samples.

    I woke up this morning to the chiming sounds of my clock. I counted the chimes and sat bolt upright and jumped out of bed thinking I had slept in 2 hours later than normal. Turned out I miscounted and was instead up earlier than normal! I’ve been sooooo tired all day as a result.

    It’s been 4 weeks since my county (in Iowa) has had a recorded COVID-19 death and masking has been virtually nonexistent here for months. The 2 local hospitals have a total of 2 COVID patients today and they service a population of about 90k.

    I was curious so I went to and spent 5 minutes trying to figure out how you even get to the pro apps pages these days. I eventually found it at the bottom of the Mac section where you first have to click the app you want and then click “learn more”. Geesh.
